I really like Richard Jenkins, who was nominated for an Oscar for actor in a lead role in the movie, The Visitor. He's a great character actor, and I loved him as the morose and wry dad in Six Feet Under. But I have to say, the first I EVER heard of this movie was this morning when I looked at the list of nominees. Weird. Anyone else seen or heard of this one?

yes! went to see it. really pretty good. esp. if you like drumming. worth renting (though it's probably back out in theaters again if it's nominated.)
Oh no...it's a delightful film. See it, see it! The only thing is...it will make you wonder how none of the other actors managed Supporting nominations! Great cast!
I saw it back in October, I think. Got it through Netflix.
I saw it a while ago and really enjoyed it. He was such an unlikely character at the beginning to wind up in his situation at the end. But, it worked and felt good!
Damn, I can't believe I missed this one. Yet another reason to feel outraged, post-nominations! Thanks for the input, all.
